2005-07-07 - 5:29 p.m. So I just had my first bike accident. I think now this sensation is aftershock. No bodily or bike damage, but I'm starting to feel shaken up. I was biking in the old port, admitedly biking the wrong way up a one way, and somebody turning left was looking the other way, and started to move. I yelled out, jumped off my bike, and the car started to run over my front tire. The driver said 'you were biking the wrong way up a one way' The driver asked me if I and my bike was ok, I said yes, and I asked...get this...'is the car ok'? 'Just worry about yourself' he replied. Other passers by asked if I was ok, and I said 'fine'. We all went our seperate ways, and life went on as usual. And, I'm sure that this incident will make a good dinner table story tonight, for the onlookers. I wonder if it's 'normal', or rather 'commonplace' to get the uncontrolable giggles soon after a bike accident? Time for a smoke...
