Ok, so if the fairy tale does in fact exist, and it would have to be rampant in contemporary mythology, then why not live it? It is so impossible that it relies in the realm of desire, such that it will never be attained?
Isn't the fairy tale, in ever la-la land, another narrative that can be constructed if one chooses to do so?
